Acoustics Expert (m/f/d)

With a total of around 3,200 employees, we develop and manufacture oil distribution, cast resin and power transformers, special devices and compact stations. Our transformers are used by energy suppliers, industrial companies, switchgear manufacturers and energy producers in the conventional and increasingly also in the renewable energy sector. We are looking for an Acoustic Expert (m/f/d) for our plant in Regensburg to start as soon as possible.

• Analysis and simulation of transformers and reactor coils regarding their dynamic behavior
• Conducting vibro-acoustic measurements and analyses to optimize the noise performance of transformers and reactor coils
• Development of concepts and measures to reduce the sound power radiation of the products
• Participation in research and development projects to optimize and improve our products and processes
• Application and maintenance of measurement technology for acoustic and dynamic analyses
• Preparation of technical reports and presentations

• Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Acoustics, or a related field
• Several years of experience in machine dynamics and technical acoustics
• Practical knowledge in handling measurement devices and software for sound and vibration analysis
• Proficient in analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, ANSYS)
• Team player with strong analytical thinking and a solution-oriented working style
• Fluent in German and good command of English, both written and spoken
